I was browsing bare minerals when a reviewer (THANK YOU) suggested this product instead of going through all the routines (swirl, tap) of bare minerals. I gave up on browsing different foundations and ordered this Chanel Double Perfection Compact in savane. This is a beautiful powder compact with a large mirror and a sponge included. About the size of my small hand. First I tried the powder. Didn't like the look. I looked like Bette Davis in "Whatever Happened to Baby Jane" ;-) Then I moistened the sponge and just ran it all around my face.
Instant transformation. I was Joan Crawford. The moistured sponge turned the powder into a natural, flawless, highlighted look. My face looked lovely. In only two minutes. I have worn this numberous times under all lighting conditions and it always goes on fast and looks great. I just add a small amount of blush. It doesn't transfer, even onto my pillow.
Just drop the compact in your purse with the sponge slightly moistioned. I have yet to need a "touch-up". This just lasts and lasts. So now I just leave the compact at home after using it.
While I am an older woman with naturally good skin, I don't see any reason this wouldn't work for all ages. It evens out the skin and gives natural highlights and a dewy look. Multiple products in one!
Highly recommended.
