(More customer reviews)Ok, I LOVE this product....It does wonders for "not so perfect skin."I have "normal" skin.Not perfect, but not terrible.It occasionally gets oily, and then occasionally is very dry.I love this because when I use it, I feel like one of those celebrities that look like they have flawless, airbrushed skin.It really does do wonders.

However, I can't really recommend this product.I love it, but there is something out there that does the same exact job this does, for less $$$.Philosophy's The Present Clear Skin Perfector is the same exact thing in my opinion, being that I have used both.It is cheaper and you get more in the tube.I would check out The Present before buying this.Philosophy products always do it better!!!

But if you're hooked to the Smashbox name and don't mind paying a little extra,get this product!You'll love it!

(More customer reviews)I struggle with oily breakthrough, even though I am middle aged.This compact looked like the ticket and for that price I assumed it was the real deal.The product comes with a tiny cheap peace of foam for the sponge.It leaves the 'powder' looking dirty after a few uses.I think the product works to a certain extent, but it needs a better applicator.

If you have oily skin, this is perfect! You don't even need a whole lot a little does go a long way!! This will leave your skin looking flawless! (More customer reviews)For years, I have used a loose powder to combat oily skin.As the years have ticked by however, my skin has gotten drier (Michigan winters are brutal).A dermatologist told me that in order to compensate for the dryness, skin will produce more oil (typically in t zone area).My skin has been a disaster for the last 2 winters.And then, I tried a sample of Bare Escentuals mineral veil...Wow.A powder that actually seems to hydrate my skin & really deal with the oil.I need to reapply this product although not for about 6 hours after the 1st application.I am so pleased with mineral veil that I can not imagine using anything else.

(More customer reviews)If you have a problem with shine or with your makeup sort of sliding around and not staying in place, then this is the product for you.It helps to reduce oil throughout the day, which for me is important.I really like using it on my eyelids to help my eyeshadow stay put.Usually by mid-day my shadow is all in the crease, but when I use this product in combination with the smashbox Lip & Lid Primer, my shadow stays all day--in fact, some days when I go to take my makeup off at night it still looks virtually perfect.It also has a nice cool feeling that is really refreshing in the morning and gives a nice start to my daily makeup application.

I have been using the Barescentuals Mineral Veil for years but notice that it's not really doing anything for me - this new HD powder is amazing. First it's very silky feeling and extremely lightweight, it goes on very easy and doesn't enhance wrinkles or dry lines, but it also creates a lovely, natural-looking matte finish and makes my skin look more even. It's very white but blends right in. I haven't tried it in really hot weather yet but will update in a few weeks.
