(More customer reviews)Ok ladies , listen up. We are always on the hunt for a shadow that will stay put . Well, this is the greatest thing since the telephone. I thought being 45 that I no longer could wear these kinds of colors because this particular eyeshadow has diamond dust in it . That makes it slightly sparkly. I bought the black to use as a liner and found that it is magnificent as an eye colorand a liner. You can use them wet or dry. One more kuddo point. Today , I wore a smoky eye and for the 1st timewet the liner brush and tested this product wet and wow the results. I wish I could show you. I also tried 2 other shadows from the diamond line and it really isn't as sparkly as I had initially thought.As you have heard me say before , Make-Up Forever colors are highly pigmented which means they are color rich and true to the color. A little can go a long way . They don't smear or run. I have worn this line for some time now and the color stays put the whole day. I know it sounds unbelievable and if you have the chance , go to a Sephora and test it for yourself. You will not believe what they can do. :)
I also reviewed the urban decay line and w/out sounding weird . I like that line too but this line has better staying power.

Stila #28 Smudge Pot Brush Review

(More customer reviews)I highly recommend this brush (and also the Smudge Pots eyeliner!) - even though it's a bit pricey, there is nothing better. It has two ends, one fine and pointy to do a smooth even line in one stroke, and one that is short-bristled which is perfect for smudging. You definitely need a brush for applying Smudge Pots eyeliner, and that's the best brush I've ever used. Make sure you clean the brush with some mild soap and water between uses - I forgot to clean it the one day and it gets hard and doesn't line as smoothly - no harm done, it washed off perfectly fine. I usually just wash mine immediately after using it and let it dry all day so it's ready for me the next time I need to apply.

(More customer reviews)I typically won't spend more than the 5 or 6 dollars for a Maybelline. I love my make-up, but I don't see the point in spending more than a few dollars for it. That said, I bought four Urban Decay eyeshadows last year and have not regretted a single cent. I think I wouldn't go for anything more expensive, but these were worth each penny.

The colors are bold and vibrant and they don't fade for awhile, and still look very well when they do. They will eventually crease, but only upon close inspection can you tell. It never looks bad. A reviewer complained that it fell onto her face; that can be a problem, and if you use foundation, wiping it off isn't really an option unless you want to redo your whole face, SO: I suggest using your fingertip to apply (that's the best way to use it) without taking TOO much, otherwise it will still crumble. Just swipe it a couple of times instead of once if you don't like the shade; the color will intensify. It's velvety and coats over itself neatly. Some of my other eyeshadows dust or crumble when I do this. As long as you don't swipe up enough to see pieces, Urban Decay won't.

These are excellent eyeshadows and come in such a wide, attractive variety that Urban Decay wins as my favorite every time. I believe they are definitely worth what you pay for.

And as end note, because I so appreciate them from other reviewers, a run-down of some of the colors I own:

Polyester Bride: A shimmery absolute white, not creamy, with some glitter.
Cherry: a very pretty pink, but it looks more like a pinkish white once on. It's also got some glitter, but less than Polyester Bride.
Vert: A bright green shimmer that has a more of a sheen than a glitter to it. One of the best green eyeshadows I've found. Very bold.
Green Goddess: Same quality shimmer as Vert. It's almost like a green-silver, a bit earthy, I suppose very goddess-like. :) If you compare with Vert, it looks lighter, but it's just as bold. Much darker than the site shows, in person and applied.

(More customer reviews)I have this in Navy Seal and I love it!It's the best way to get that hard-to-achieve smoky eye look!The only problem is that the cream liner can be a bit difficult to get on; it takes a little effort, but then it's worth it!I recommend trying this if you are considering it!I only wish the other colors would look good on me, but they are not my colors.

(More customer reviews)Well I like this product, it's not worth the original $20, but i got mine for $5. I do not recommend it to people who do not know how to use pigments. Use with some sort of base, pack it on your brush then tap off the extra. Pigment is different from pressed shadows, it can get messy if you don't know how to apply it properly. The little bottle sucks i hate it, and the stupid little brush is annoying. I put all of the pigments i got into a little pot, to make it easier for me.

Urban Decay Razor Sharp Ultra Definition Finishing Powder Review

(More customer reviews)First off, the packaging of this product is somewhat useless in my opinion.The base is turned to an OPEN position in order to release powder, yet I have to tap the sponge on my hand a few times before getting any powder.However, when in the CLOSED position, powder gets everywhere inside my makeup bag.The attached sponge is also a little hard to get used to.As I mentioned before, I have to tap the product on my hand just to get the powder started and then it is hard to control the amount of powder released.I think this product would work much better WITHOUT the attached sponge.

Now, on to the powder.When I first applied the powder, my face looked absolutely FLAWLESS.All freckles, redness, etc. was covered and I had a perfect airbrushed look.This was certainly great until a photo was taken of me and I could see streaks of "white" powder.This was not noticeable after application, so I'm thinking either a) flashes on cameras do not mesh well with this product or b) the sponge doesn't do an adequate job of smoothing out the powder.In the future, I will definitely try to blend this product with a brush to see if the outcome is better.

If the "streaks" of powder were not apparent in the photos, I would definitely recommend this product despite the downfalls of the packaging.I certainly look forward to see the opinions of others or if anyone else experienced the streaks when using a flash on their camera.

(More customer reviews)The silky texture of these eye shadows means that a little goes a loooooong way. They also tend to last longer on the lid than most eyeshadows do. The colors are vibrant, fun and intense. They are also buildable.

These are some of the best eyeshadows in the industry as far as the pigment density, how easy and smooth they go on, and the great way they look and STAY on. Velvety texture and true color.

These are always a must-buy for me and I keep them in my makeup case regularly. I've also bought them as gifts for many of my girlfriends who now can't get enough of them!

The lightest shade is Illusion, which is at least 3 shades too dark for me. I normally use the lightest shade available. This isn't even close. Otherwise, it would be great.

(More customer reviews)I've been using Bare Minerals and I really like it. However, I'm pretty clumsy and powder gets all over the place when I use BE. I thought a travel friendly/quick applicator would be great; so I decided to try this. The makeup itself looked beautiful on my face and really brought out my natural glow. However, that is when I used a brush to to put it on at the store. Then when I took it home and tried to use the applicator, I could not get the powder to come out of it.

If you're not going to use the applicator or if you're smarter than I am, I think this is the way to go for a nice one-step application process.

Pros:
- Cool applicator concept
- Nice coverage
- Brings out natural complexion

Cons:
- Applicator difficult to use
- No SPF
